Job Description

Marketing Administrator, Manchester

Introducing Addleshaw Goddard's Marketing Team

Addleshaw Goddard is a London headquartered, international, full-service law firm that consistently delivers high-quality outcomes for clients globally. Our lawyers help many of the world's best-known brands to defend their rights, protect their interests and to make the most of business opportunities.
This role sits within the Firm's multi award-winning Marketing and Business Development team, whose focus is on helping our expert Partners and other lawyers to win business and deliver an excellent client service.

The role

We are looking for a well‑organised and detail‑focused Marketing Administrator to join our team. This role plays an important part in supporting the smooth running of marketing and Business Development activity.

The role is primarily responsible for managing people profiles on the firm's website, including coordinating starter and leaver updates, maintaining fee earner biographies, and also arranging professional photography for new joiners. Accuracy, attention to detail, and timely delivery are key, as the website is a core external-facing tool for the firm. In addition, the role will provide administrative support to the Business Development Leadership Team, spending around 15% of time on diary management and arranging travel.

This role would suit someone who is highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple requests. Full training will be provided, making this a strong opportunity to gain experience within a professional services marketing environment.
The position is based in our Manchester or Leeds office.

Duties

Below is an overview of the main duties:

  • Maintain and update fee earner profiles on the Addleshaw Goddard website, ensuring content is accurate, consistent with internal profiles, and reflects the firm's standards at all times.
  • Manage the firm's starters and leavers process on the website, including liaising with new joiners to obtain CV information, creating and publishing new profiles, and removing profiles when individuals leave the firm.
  • Coordinate professional photography for new starters by liaising with external photographers, booking sessions and meeting rooms, issuing calendar invitations, and ensuring photographs are uploaded to the website in a timely manner. Manage budgets and invoicing with external photographers in different locations.
  • Support a range of ad‑hoc website administration tasks, as required by the digital marketing team.
  • Managing the new joiner process for people joining the firm's Marketing & Business Development department, including setting up meetings with team members and diarising induction training.
  • Provide administrative support to the Business Development leadership team (approximately 15% of the role), including diary management, managing expenses and the coordination of travel bookings.

Knowledge, skills and experience required

We are looking for someone with the following attributes:

  • Highly organised, approachable, and able to communicate with internal stakeholders in a calm, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously while maintaining a high-quality output.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the confidence to handle profile information and other content accurately and professionally.
  • A strong aptitude for learning and using online software and technology, with a proven ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
  • Comfortable working to deadlines and managing a steady flow of administrative requests, including diary management.
  • Able to work independently on routine tasks, while knowing when to seek guidance or escalate issues.
  • Experience working with external suppliers would be helpful.
  • 1 - 2 years' experience in a professional or office‑based working environment (professional services experience is desirable but not essential).

We are a hardworking team that loves what we do – and we like to have fun while doing it. If this sounds like the kind of environment you'd thrive in, we'd love to hear from you!
