Junior PA, Dublin

HERE, YOU'LL DO HIGH CALIBRE WORK, WITH HIGH- PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

•    A great opportunity has come up for a Junior PA to join our team in Dublin. 
•    We encourage applications from individuals with some experience in legal or a comparable environment, who is looking for an opportunity which will provide full training and development into a Legal PA in an international premium law firm.
•    Within this role you will provide highly effective administrative support to a team of busy fee earners. 
•    The nature of this role will require you to be present in the office 5 days a week.

 

THE TEAM

•    You will be joining and supported by a team of 14 PAs including a Team Leader and two Junior PAs.
•    You will be mentored by the PA Team Leader who will be responsible for your training and development over a two year period as part of a firmwide structured development program.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS ROLE 

The ideal candidate:
•    Understands and assists with the billing process and associated financial management tasks
•    Engages with fee earners to understand and assist in general financial housekeeping
•    Manages fee earners administrative processes, utilising appropriate resource
•    Develops understanding of matter management processes, gradually increasing level of responsibility and risk management awareness
•    Adheres to firmwide and group Best Practice protocols
•    Adheres to the firm's risk and compliance policies and procedures and raises any issues or queries promptly with the relevant Partner and / or Risk and Compliance
•    Develops skillset in order to support fee earners with their business development activity
•    Builds rapport and develops effective working relationships with fee earner teams.

Essentials are:
•    At least one year's experience (or equivalent) gained within a comparable environment
•    Previous experience of Microsoft Office, in particular a good understanding of Outlook, Word and Teams and a basic understanding of Excel
•    Willingness to work proactively to meet client needs.
