This role is to support Addleshaw Goddard's Middle East Banking & Finance practice by delivering high-quality legal advice on banking, finance and restructuring matters to clients across the region. You will play a key role in providing exceptional client service, upholding AG's reputation for excellence, and contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm's Finance practice in the Middle East

What You'll Do:

•  Work within one of AG's core and most strategically important Finance practices in Dubai and the wider GCC 
•  Advise on a broad range of domestic and cross-border finance transactions across leveraged finance, acquisition finance, real estate finance, and general corporate lending 
•  Support transactions throughout the full lifecycle, from structuring and documentation through to execution and closing 
•  Draft and review financing documentation and assist with negotiation of key transaction terms 
•  Conduct due diligence and support deal structuring across complex financing matters 
•  Work directly with a range of clients including lenders, sponsors, private equity funds, sovereign wealth funds, and corporates 
•  Collaborate closely with colleagues across corporate and projects to deliver integrated client solutions 
•  Gain exposure to market-leading transactions across sectors including Real Estate, Energy, Infrastructure, Industrials, and Financial Services 
•  Take early responsibility with direct client exposure in a fast-paced, high-performing team environment

Who We're Looking For:

•  At least 2 years' post-qualification experience in banking & finance law, ideally from a leading firm 
•  Strong technical legal knowledge with the ability to provide clear, practical advice 
•  Experience in transactional finance, with exposure to restructuring matters advantageous 
•  Strong drafting skills and confidence in preparing effective, client-focused documentation 
•  Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
•  Strong client service mindset with attention to detail and commercial awareness 
•  Proactive, resilient, and enthusiastic approach to work 
•  Commitment to professional development and contributing to team success 
•  Genuine interest in understanding client objectives and delivering impactful, solutions-driven advice
